Triple P today

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is widely regarded as one of the world's most effective parenting programmes. It is one of the few based on evidence from ongoing scientific research. In fact, the United Nations ranks Triple P the number one parenting programme in the world, based on the amount of research and evidence behind the programme.

Triple P is used in 25 countries, including the USA, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Japan, Iran, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands, Germany, Curacao, Romania, Switzerland, Austria and Sweden. It has been translated into 19 languages other than English and it's estimated to have helped more than four million children and their families.

Triple P has won numerous international awards, including the Australian Heads of Government National Violence Prevention Award, while founder Professor Matt Sanders has been a consultant to the World Health Organization, the Council of Europe and to governments in countries including the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Japan and Iran.

Over the years, a number of specialist Triple P programmes have also been developed. These include Stepping Stones Triple P (for parents of children with a disability), Lifestyle Triple P (for parents of children who are overweight), Family Transitions Triple P (for parents going through divorce or separation) and Indigenous Triple P (for Indigenous families).
